‘Night Photo Studio’ episode 6 cancelled, due to the broadcasting company’s circumstances.

In Genie TV’s original series ‘Night Photo Studio’, we are introduced to Seo Gi-ju, a professional photographer who has led a solitary existence for more than two decades, finding solace in the company of ghosts rather than people. However, everything changes when Han Bom, a human, enters Gi-ju’s world. Due to a curse on his camera, Gi-ju has been relentlessly pursued by vengeful spirits, living in constant fear of their deadly presence.

Bom possesses a unique ability to open the ‘Gate of this world’, a photo studio that only Gi-ju can access. She also possesses the extraordinary power to create a ‘safe zone’ that shields her from the influence of ghosts. Like Gi-ju, she too can see and communicate with the deceased. Bom’s exceptional nature intrigues Gi-ju, who had never encountered anyone like her before.

With Bom’s arrival, Gi-ju’s frozen heart begins to thaw. Despite the principle of prioritizing guests in the photo studio, Gi-ju deviates from the norm and assists Bom in bidding a final farewell to her only family member, Mrs. Soom-sun. They even venture into outdoor filming locations where the presence of ghosts looms ominously. After a visit to the photo studio, Bom encounters a ghost, prompting Go Dae-ri to provide her with a ghost extermination kit and an emergency contact number. Consequently, Bom becomes the sole contact saved on Gi-ju’s cell phone, solidifying their unique bond within the ‘Safe Zone’.

After opening the ghost gate, Ki-ju forcefully opened the dead man’s gate for Bom, who was trembling with fear, claiming that the safe zone was ineffective. Following the same pattern as before, they took a photo with another deceased person and closed the ear gates. However, the problem arose when there were no guests who could take advantage of this much-needed opportunity. In a daring move, Ki-ju risked his own life to bring Ryu Seong-hyun, the demon who had previously attacked the elevator, to the photo studio. Despite knowing the potential danger of meddling with life and death, Ki-ju did it all for the sake of Bom. That night, Ki-ju had a difficult time due to the presence of the ghost.

Bom, on the other hand, couldn’t help but worry about Ki-ju. As she entered Ki-ju’s world, each day became a challenge. Living in constant fear and tension, she never knew when or where she would encounter an angry and aggressive ghost. Finally understanding the world Ki-ju lived in, Bom empathetically touched his lonely heart. Perhaps the reason behind these strange occurrences was a revelation, reminding them that there are kind-hearted individuals on this earth who selflessly help others without seeking recognition for their own struggles.

The two individuals are currently residing in the same realm, regardless of the circumstances. Ki-ju went through great lengths, even sacrificing his hearing, to restore Bom’s vision to normalcy, but unfortunately, it proved to be ineffective. Bom, who tragically passed away in a car accident, had witnessed the apparitions approaching her with her own eyes, pleading for her life, which left her terrified once again. During that moment, Ki-ju, who appeared during the spring season with a frail body, shielded her eyes. However, a blue circle, known as the safe zone, materialized between the two individuals. The ability that vanished when Bom was alone resurfaced when she approached the host.

The phrase displayed on the Safe Zone poster, “Because we must be close to be safe,” encapsulates this concept. The spring safe zone only provides a sense of security when it is in close proximity to the host. Now, all attention is focused on whether these two individuals, existing within the same world and under the same circle, will be able to rescue each other from the malevolent ghosts that pose a threat to their lives. Most importantly, in the previous broadcast, glimpses of Ki-ju and Bom’s shared childhood memories were briefly unveiled, heightening viewers’ anticipation as the romance within the Safe Zone continues to develop.

Unfortunately, the airing of Episode 6 of ‘Night Photo Studio’ on ENA at 10 PM on the 26th has been canceled. Instead, ‘Night Photo Studio Episodes 1-5 Binge-watch’ will be broadcasted as a replacement due to circumstances at the broadcasting company.
