The upcoming Marry You K-drama cast has been confirmed,Marry You’ Lee Yi-kyung, Jo Soo-min, Koo Jun-hoe, and Ji Yi-soo demonstrated exceptional chemistry during their initial interactions.
On October 11, Channel A’s upcoming Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Marry You‘ (written by Lina and directed by Hwang Kyung-sung) unveiled a scene from the script reading.

Marry You‘ is a comedic family drama that revolves around the matchmaking efforts between single and married couples. It follows the story of single civil servant ‘Jung Ha-na,’ who is determined to marry off island bachelor ‘Bong Cheol-hee’ to escape the clutches of a marriage fraud team.

On this day, the principal cast members—Lee Yi-kyung, Jo Soo-min, Koo Jun-hoe, Ji Yi-soo, Woo Hyun, Kim Kang-hyun, Kim Mi-ryeo, Ahn Tae-rin, and Seo Woo-jin—along with the production team, convened on location for their inaugural collaboration. Reports indicate that the actors’ enthusiasm and commitment to their roles were so remarkable that it was difficult to believe this was their first time working together.

Lee Yi-kyung’s impressive versatility was particularly noteworthy. Portraying Bong Cheol-hee, a charming and innocent island bachelor, he effortlessly transitioned between moments of joy and gravity with his dynamic performance. His delivery of lines in the Chungcheong dialect brought laughter to the set, leaving the crew thoroughly impressed by his talent for embodying any character. Having captivated everyone during the script reading, Lee Yi-kyung is anticipated to redefine his character in this project.

Jo Soo-min fully embraced the character of Jung Ha-na, a 7th-grade civil servant with a non-marriage ideology, capturing the audience’s attention. In the storyline, Jung Ha-na finds herself unexpectedly assigned to the marriage fraud promotion team, leading to the ironic challenge of facilitating marriages for others despite her beliefs. Jo Soo-min impressed viewers with her nuanced portrayal of Jung Ha-na’s emotional journey.

Koo Jun-hoe showcased his enhanced acting abilities in ‘Marry You.’ He portrays Choi Ki-joon, the head of the marriage fraud promotion team, with remarkable depth. Koo Jun-hoe effectively conveys Choi Ki-joon’s warm demeanour and affectionate dialogue while also revealing the character’s hidden struggles. His performance is drawing significant attention, as he captivates audiences with his blend of intellect and warmth.

Ji Yi-soo, who exhibits complete synchronisation with her role, truly stands out. The character she portrays, Oh In-ah, embodies the trifecta of beauty, wealth, and charisma. Ji Yi-soo’s elegant and refined appearance, combined with her vibrant and cheerful demeanor, brings the character of Oh In-ah to life in a remarkable way.

Moreover, the drama features the talented Woo Hyun, Kim Kang-hyun, and Kim Mi-ryeo, who are known for their ability to captivate audiences. Additionally, the performances of young actors Ahn Tae-rin and Seo Woo-jin, who play crucial roles in ‘Marry You’ have also garnered significant praise.
